Prayer Walk -
Friday 9th January 2026 at 10.30 a.m.
Please gather at the junction of Avondale Street and Preston Road. We will be walking along streets to be prayed for this week: Avondale Street, Hedgerow Gardens, Adelphi Street, Greenwood Road, James Square and James Place.

The funeral of Audrey Lucas will take place at Standish Methodist Church on Thursday 8th January 2026 at 12.00 noon. Then followed by a service at Charnock Richard Crematorium at 1.30pm.
Food Parcels
We will again be providing food parcels to two families at a local school. If you are able to contribute funds towards this, please see Kathryn or Philip Sudworth.

Prayer Circle
As part of the Pastoral Work in our church, we have a group of people who regularly pray in their private prayer time for our church and other concerns. Luncheon Club

WEDNESDAY
Share and Grow
Share and Grow Meetings take place on alternate Wednesdays at 10 a.m. in the Church. The next meeting will be on Wednesday 14th January 2026.
Ladies Group - Wednesday Group Meetings
The next meeting will be on Wednesday 7th January 2026, when Angela Lucas will be talking about “Flowers on a Winter’s Day”. Wednesday Group Meetings are held monthly on the First Wednesday in the month. Cost £3.
Men's Fellowship Group
Meetings are held in the upper room of the Globe Inn. 7 pm for 7-30 pm. The Cost is £10.00 and includes a buffet supper. There is a £3 raffle draw and all proceeds go to local charities.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday 14th January 2026 and is a ladies invitation..
The speaker is Janet Etheridge who will be giving a presentation about the RNLI.
