Prayer Walk -
Friday 12th June 2026 at 10.30 a.m.
Please gather at the the far end of The Limes. We will be walking along streets to be prayed for this week: The Limes, Torridon Close, Copperbeech Drive, Tenter Drive and Breeze Hill.
Funeral of Richard Culshaw
Richard Culshaws funeral will take place on Monday 15th June at 1.30 p.m at Standish Methodist Church.
Strawberry Afternoon Tea
Our Strawberry Afternoon Tea will be on Tuesday 23rd June at 3 pm and is £7. Children free. There will be various sandwiches, pies, home made cakes, strawberries and cream, tea and coffee. Please come along, and bring a friend and enjoy!
Coffee Morning Coach Trip
Coach Trip to Llandudno on June 25th. Open to all from church etc. If anyone is interested, please put your name on the list on the "What's On board in the church hall.
Church Gardening Club
How would you like to spend an hour or two maximum in the open air with a group likeminded people, once a fortnight, during Spring, Summer and early Autumn, to do some light exercise and helping to look after the Community Garden at the rear of the Church? If this appeals to you and you would like to join a new group at Church doing this please speak to Rev Chris Shelley. We will confirm all the details to fit what people want to do at a later date. All ages and abilities welcome and you don’t need to be a Monty Don!
Fundraising Concert at The Vale Methodist Church, Shevington
Sunday 28th June at 2pm
Music by Upholland Community Band Tickets are £10 including refreshments and are available from Liz Maxwell. Numbers are limited due to space. See poster on notice board for more details.

As part of the Pastoral Work in our church, we have a group of people who regularly pray in their private prayer time for our church and other concerns. Luncheon Club

Share and Grow
Meetings take place on alternate Wednesdays in the Primary from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm. There will be no meeting on 10th June. The next meeting will be on Wednesday 24th June and will be the last one until September.
Prayer Meetings
Are held in the Primary from 11 30 am - 12 30 pm.
The next Meeting will be on Wednesday 17th June. Prayer Meetings are held on alternate weeks. All welcome.
Ladies Group - Wednesday Group Meetings
Thank you to all the Wednesday Group ladies for supporting our Silent Auction and buffet. The Wednesday Group meetings will restart in September after the summer break.
Men's Fellowship Group

Coffee Morning
Our popular coffee morning and warm hub takes place every Thursday from 10-30 am until noon. Hot drinks, tea cakes and crumpets are available alongside the chat and laughter.
