Prayer Walk -
Friday 18th July at 10.30 a.m.
Please gather at the junction of Boars Head Avenue and Wigan Road. We will be walking along streets to be prayed for this week: Boars Head Ave., Rassey Close, Cromdale Crescent, Derngate Drive.
We have changed the venue for the next Circuit Prayer Meeting on Sunday 3rd August at 6.00pm. The prayer meeting will be at Spencer Road Methodist Church. All are welcome to worship and pray. Advertising flyers will be sent out to the churches soon.
Food Parcels
We will again be providing food parcels to two families at a local school. If you are able to contribute funds towards this, please see Kathryn or Philip Sudworth.

Rev. Richard goes on sabbatical
Rev. Richard is now on sabbatical and will return on 19th August. During this period pastoral oversight and support for Standish will be given by
Rev Peter Powers.
Prayer Circle
As part of the Pastoral Work in our church, we have a group of people who regularly pray in their private prayer time for our church and other concerns. MONDAY
Luncheon Club
There is no Luncheon Club in August. The next luncheon club will be on Monday 1st September 2025. The cost will be £8 and the meal will include a 2-course meal followed by tea or coffee. WEDNESDAY
Share and Grow
Share and Grow Meetings take place on alternate Wednesdays at 10 a.m. in the Church. The next meeting will be on Wednesday 10th September, 2025.
Ladies Group - Wednesday Group Meetings
The Wednesday Group Meetings are held monthly on the First Wednesday in the month. Cost £3. There will be a break now until the beginning of September.
Men's Fellowship Group
Meetings are held in the upper room of the Globe Inn. 7 pm for 7-30 pm. The Cost is £10.00 and includes a buffet supper. There is a £2 raffle draw and all proceeds go to local charities. There will be a break now until the beginning of September.
THURSDAY
Coffee Morning
Our popular coffee morning and warm hub takes place every Thursday from 10-30 am until noon. Hot drinks, tea cakes and crumpets are available alongside the chat and laughter.
